Each year New Orleans parades send tens of millions of dollars overseas to import throws made in factories with poor working conditions. As the culture of Mardi Gras shifts towards quality over quantity, we can start to find and promote throws like this soap that are made by a local, small business and keep that money here in our community. 💰⚜️💰
The typical plastic glitter most often used for Mardi Gras throws and costumes can find its way into waterways as undesirable and long lasting “micro-plastics”, where as the glitter in this soap is made from Eucalyptus tree bark and easily biodegradable. 🌲
