Boyfriend is a New Orleans-based musician featured on tracks with NOLA legends Lil Wayne, Big Freedia, Galactic and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. She’s the songwriter behind tracks for Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Slayyyter, The Revivalists, Pussy Riot and many more. A festival favorite known for her over the top live show, she’s featured heavily in the Grammy Award-Winning Documentary about her other favorite New Orleans holiday…Jazz Fest! She loves Mardi Gras, but she’s interested in making it a more sustainable tradition for future generations. She’s a Grounds Krewe board member and the sustainability advisor for the Krewe of Freret - which is the first big avenue parade to ban plastic beads!
